Yamaha YDP-V240 Review
The music machine, the Yamaha YDP-V240 is like a digital keyboard and digital piano in one compared to the Yamaha YDP 181 and YDP 161.
If your main focus is on the piano sound, then you may not need the YDP V240.
However, if you enjoy using other sounds in music making, then the Yamaha YDP-V240 has a heap more sounds, in addition to the grand piano sound.

Yamaha P155 Digital Piano Review
The Yamaha P155 digital piano is very hot right now.
Of the Yamaha stage/home pianos that is portable versus a large Clavinova type piano, it is the leader in this category.
The Yamaha p95 is pretty popular too, but the sampled sounds of the P155 is superior and is from (quote their website): “Yamaha’s finest 9-foot concert grand, a hand-picked CFIIIS”, which is their biggest and best grand piano.
Here’s an amazing improvization by Kyle Landy on his Yamaha p155:
The sound quality is more pristine if I can use that word, than the p95, in that it has a clearer, more ringing grand sound than a more subdued piano. (more…)
Yamaha P95 Digital Piano Review
When it comes to digital pianos, Yamaha really does have its place and is one of the leading brands.
Though I have a Roland at the moment, the Roland FP4, I have used Yamaha in the past and it does have certain qualities that may make you prefer the Yamaha over the other brands.
The most popular at the moment is the Yamaha P95 digital piano.
The Yamaha P95 has the full 88 keys, a grand piano sound, as well as a host of other sounds such as organ, electric piano, strings, chorus, harpsichord, vibraphone, etc. You can also combine sounds.
The sound of the Yamaha is very good in the treble. (more…)
